Scrum Poker

An interactive web tool for playful effort estimation in agile teams, digitalizing the classic Scrum Poker process.

Scrum Poker

A collaborative estimation tool specifically designed to evaluate the complexity of user stories in agile development processes transparently and efficiently.

Participants can join digital rooms in real-time and cast their estimates covertly based on the Fibonacci sequence to avoid mutual influence (anchoring).

As soon as all participants have voted, the cards are revealed simultaneously, enabling an objective discussion about differing assessments and promoting team consensus.

This project is used specifically in my teaching: It serves as a practical example to introduce students to the principles of agile software development and the importance of team communication.

By using it in the classroom, students not only learn the theory behind story points and relative estimations but also directly experience the dynamics of an agile planning meeting.

The technical implementation of the tool also provides an ideal foundation for analyzing web technologies and real-time data transmission in an educational context.
